My team has had considerable personal experiences at Hales Bar. Everything from audible voices, seeing shadows, being touched and being scratched. Have you or anyone you know ever had experiences at Hales Bar?

Has  anyone ever transcribed the information on the tombstones? I would like to know where I could find that information if they have.

We have met with someone that does Geneology. He has looked up some info. He said some children died of Yellow Fever. That is all we have found out so far.

I used to live at Hale's bar and Marina when I was in my teens with my Grandfather Raymond Blevins he was from the area and so are many of my family members. I remember hearing voices "only there that sounded like children laughing" it freaked me out! After telling my Grandfather he just passed it off as a dream but i wasn't asleep. Later many other things happened. We lived on Signal mountain but kept the house boat at the marina. On another occasion i seen a man with a lantern walking at the power plant but at bthis time the mid 80's there was NO security so ????

Don't know if anyone here is aware but a 3 year old boy drowned at the marina over 60 years ago. Two famlies were headed to their house boat for the weekend. Each couple had a 3 year old boy. Both boys fell into the water when they ran ahead of their parents and tried to get on the boat unassisted. The father that got to them first saw a blonde head near the surface of the water. He grabbed the hair and pulled out the other couple's child. It took several minutes before he found his own son who was already dead. The boy that drowned would be at least 70 years old if he survived. He has three living sisters. The boy who survived I believe is also still living.
